Just completed my latest piece, "Hallelujah," a 30x30 gallery-wrapped deep edge canvas showcasing vibrant oriental poppies.
 
The name “Hallelujah” means "praise the Lord," and it perfectly captures the joy and gratitude I feel about this artwork. After finishing it in acrylic, I realized it needed more, so I took a leap and added an oil layer, softening the background to enhance the depth and movement.
 
It’s always a bit nerve-wracking to make such a significant change, but trusting my instincts paid off. Taking risks is part of the artistic journey, and this one led to a result that fills me with even more joy and praise.
